christopher and i got married on the 19th of november 2011.  liz took care of all our wedding stationary and because we moved our wedding date forward she only had 2 weeks or so to get everything done.
you did so much!  and knew exactly what I wanted.  everything exceeded our expectations.

thank you for all your patience and getting it all right first time.  our wedding was perfect and organizing it was just so much easier and less stressful.  you really made our day extra special.  you have so much passion for what you do and everything was done with so much attention to detail.

from the day we first decided to tie the knot, 26th May 2012, the thought of arranging the perfect wedding felt like a gigantic task. 

thanks to Lizelle, with her fantastic work ethic, it was easy to decide on who we wanted to do our wedding invitations and stationery. 

her creativity and ability to take our ideas and turn them into exactly what we wanted was nothing short of brilliant.  her attention to detail left us with a feeling of complete contentment, knowing that  a pinnicle aspect of our wedding stationery was in safe hands.

you're my baby, darling little baby...

on 5 April 2012 my suspicions were confirmed, i was pregnant!  EEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!  i wasn't ready to be a mom, the timing wasn't right, blah, blah, blah!  so many thoughts floated through my head as i tried to sleep that night...  warren however was uncharacteristically excited!  weird!!!

as the days passed and we whispered together about "our little secret" (we decided to wait a few weeks before sharing our news) i started loving the idea of being a mom!

being the internet geek that i am, i started googling ideas for prams, bottles, nursery decor, you name it!  there's just so much to choose from!

the one thing that i saw and absolutely loved was a poster with all the baby's "vital stats" printed on it.  and i vowed to do one just like that for our little "knott" once he or she was born...

i've finally had the time to do Grayson's one and it dawned on me:  if i like this idea so much, i'm sure other mommy's will too! 

so why not offer it to others?  isn't it just the perfect gift for a new baby??  something pretty that proudly displays all the info about your baby's birth!

so, here it is!

On the 5 March 2011, Michael and I exchanged our vows in a magical way with special family and friends. It was a day that we will never forget.

However, this day would never have been so exceptional if we did not have Liz on board as our wedding theme/stationery designer. Exquisite designs, from the invitations, table-seating map, name tags etc. flowed elegantly through the wedding theme. Everything was tailor made to our desires. Liz gave us multiple options to choose from when we designed the wedding invitations – each invitation adopting something that was so unique to our relationship. it feels official...

i finally took the plunge and had business cards printed...

tah-dah!  here it is!!!

i know for most having a business card is as mundane as brushing your teeth.  but when that business card is for your own business its just so much more special...  i'm one proud mamma bear!

look what the easter bunny brought...

they may not be easter eggs, but I guarantee you they're just as yummy!

i love making sweet treats for my family instead of purchasing the usual eggs...  last year i baked hot cross bun cupcakes with hidden chocolate centres and they were a huge hit!  this year i decided to make chocolate truffles...  will have to wait and see if they're as successful!

the recipe is pretty simple:
125g margarine
250ml icing sugar
100ml cocoa powder
1 packet crushed marie biscuits
125ml smooth apricot jam
5ml vanilla essence
coconut

~ cream the margarine
~ sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder and add to the margarine
~ mix
~ add the crushed marie biscuits, apricot jam and vanilla essence
~ mix
~ roll into balls and cover with coconut
~ store in the fridge

and voila! 

for the labels i decided to use our precious baby boy as the model.  isn't he just the cutest!

pack the truffles in a little box, add some twine and a button and you have a yummy gift made with love, for your loved ones!
